Christopher Perez

Christopher Perez grew up in Hobe Sound with an artist’s eye. He enjoys sketching as well as photography. His interest in photography began while working at the 6,000 acre Atlantic Ridge State Park where he fell in love with Florida’s landscape. Chris realized he was seeing things that others would never see. He wanted to capture and preserve the pristine vistas and subtle distinctions of the park, so began photographing what was around him. He had a different perspective of the landscape while driving the tractor. One of his first photographs, a flower in the park, titled "Platanus occidentalis" earned him an Award of Merit at the A.E.
